JB Ferox is a free tape saturation modeller VST plugin. It has separate controls for saturation and hysteresis effects. Feedback with variable tape speed is provided to simulate vintage tape echos.

A very simple tape delay effect for creating that specific tape delay sound.
Key features:
- Accurate tape delay emulation
- Smooth tape-like delay time changes
- Up to 1 second delay
- High and low cut
- Add noise for self resonance
- Midi-CC and VST Automation support

A virtual tape delay, loosely modelled on the venerable Roland Space Echo. Does a fairly good job of emulating the tape saturation, unpredictability and wild self-oscillation of the real deal.
Features main echo and ’second-tapehead’ sub-echoes, as well as adjustable vintageness (tape hiss, motor inertia, tape and motor age).

This plug-in mimicks the tape delay in Logic Audio, and gives you separate control over the delay times on left and right channel. suitable for ping pong delays and drifting delays

Retro SamplingTries to create the sound of an old tape delay, includes various effects.

Adds hiss and noise from old vintage studio hardware.

GS-201 is an accurate simulation of a japanese Tape Echo machine of the early seventies, featuring:
Distinctive dynamic range and frequency response
Realistic response to the panel controls
Motor “wow and flutter”
Sound degradation and distortion at high feedback levels
Very natural hum and background tape noise
Three different kinds of magnetic tape models
Ultra-low CPU usage
Easy “MIDI Learn” feature

1-Time (one-time) is a FREE mono tape saturation plug-in. It can smooth out harsh transients, add weight to kicks, and more. There is only one setting and only one knob that adjusts the gain.

maelcum is a tape-like delay module. designed specifically to emulate the classic tape delays, maelcum has internal tape noise generation, with variable mix, and either tempo based or manually entered delay time. rub a dub dub.

The Saturator is a FREE plug-in that emulates the non-linear curve of analog tape in saturation. The Saturator can add up to 6dB of gain to the signal to push it into overdrive whereby soft clipping begins. When used properly the Saturator can add that “analog sound” to your tracks or can be used to boost low level signals giving them an “analog edge”.
A VST plug-in which emulates the playback speed imperfections of the pre-digital era.

A simple tape delay -

Besides being a CPU hog this plug-in goes further than most real tape delay machines. It’s capable of stereo delays, ping pong delays, multitap delays and complex delay textures.
