If you need an electric piano but are looking for something more than the usual Rhodes or Whurlitzer clone, then Clavia Lab is the instrument for you.
This is a hybrid analog/physical model using experimental techniques to create the complex changing harmonic content of an electric piano. Features include:
* source, amplifier and modulation sections give you plenty of control over tone and play dynamics
* precise control over all parameters - knobs have around 120 steps
* VU meter indicates when tone is likely to distort (distortion is actually very pleasant in most cases)
* 8 presets plus room for 8 more
* lots of potential for experimentation.

MrRay SeventyThree is characterized by a series of “imperfections” introduced in order to capture, with the highest possible fidelity, the sound of a Mark I. There are mallet noises, wooden noises, metallic artifacts and changes of volume for each single note. Also, the lower notes have a particular “growl” when you hit them hard, and when you hit more keys really hard, you’ll hear them “vibrating”, originally due to the instability of the harp assembly inside the real instrument. You won’t hear the exact same sound twice when you play it. When keys are released you’ll hear the noises produced by the “dampers” which stop the vibration of the tines.

LazySnake is a virtual electric piano VSTi, with a good quality e-piano sound, and several variations on it.

Electric Piano Module
Features:
2 layers, 13 waveforms
Octave select and micro-detuner
Effects (Delay, flanger)
Assignable Automation Capability

MrRay is an Electric Piano emulation. It is capable of producing the sound of the Electric Pianos of the seventies, like the Fender Rhodes and the Wurlitzer EP, as well as the Yamaha DX7 FM Piano.

MrTramp is a Wurlitzer® Electric Piano model 200 simulation.
It’s a physical model, that means that all the sound you hear is 100% generated in real time. No samples at all!
It features all the nuances and colorations of the real instrument, such as the noise of the hammers, the noise of the dampers, certain inconsistences between a note and the next one. The last 5 notes (from G#6 to C7) don’t have dampers so they’re not stopped when the respective keys are released.
Features a built-in tremolo with adjustable intensity, fixed at 6 Hz.
MrTramp doesn’t use any sampled data.

This softsynth is modelled around 31 carefully sampled and mastered Rhodes Piano samples.

yohng.comThis is a vintage Rhodes-typed piano module with gentle overdrive. This module reproduces the classic sound similar to RSP73 pianos. Module is not sample based, and the sound is generated on-the-fly, therefore there are 127 layers with vintage rhodes smooth overdrive, clean and continuous.

yohng.comE-Piano module with a rich, warm and silky sound. It is quite unique by its character. The module is made with a hybrid technology, which involves sample playback and synthesizing within one case.

- 6 Rhodes piano variations
- Velocity response
- Amp. envelope and micro-detuner
- HP and LP Filter
- 3 Fx (Reverb, Flanger and Chorus)

Big Blue Piano is a virtual electric piano - similar in sound to the Fender Rhodes. At the moment it is extremely minimal, with no GUI based controls at all (other than the keyboard). However, vibrato can be controlled with the Mod-wheel MIDI cc. Channel aftertouch affects vibrato strength, and speed.

The B-400 is a simple, yet robust synthesizer that provides a myriad of minor tonal variations to a core sound that falls somewhere in between an electronic piano and a basic poly- synth. This VST utilizes three oscillators (with 32 waveforms each) as well as a leslie / vibrato style flutter engine output as well as two other main output channels; one being a simple clean out, and the other a tube simulator with a 3-Band EQ. Each oscillator is able to be coarse tuned. Special thanks goes to Etric Van Mayer for his excellent Oscil8R SE oscillator module.
