Dr-Fusion 2 is a drum sampler and synth with:
7 instruments with dual samples (kick, 2 snares, 2 percussion, hihat, ride and crash,
2 instruments with dual samples into which the user can load samples,
2 instruments with single sample slots (closed hihats, claps)

The Minimogue is a lead, FX and bass synth just like the real Minimoog. It is programmed to be as expressive as possible. This is a synth for the players. Modulation wheel takes a big part in the solo sounds. Also try to play long legato lines to hear the full sweep with sounds like Big drift. It is cpu friendly. CPU load is 1% on a 1,5 centrino machine. On my old P4 1,7 machine CPU load is 3 %.

The U-NO-60 vst plugin is a polyphonic virtual analogue synth with a unique filter sound. An original JUNO 60 is used as reference for the oscillators and filters.
Like the original, the plugin is capable of self-resonance and thus could be used to some degree as a tone generator.
The filter section also features controls for envelope amount and polarity, LFO modulation and keyboard tracking. In addition, a non-resonant highpass filter is provided to thin out lower frequencies.

Tetra generates a bandlimited quadrature signal, ie. a stereo signal whose harmonics differ pairwise by 90 degrees. By morphing between two definable timbres, Tetra can create a wide range of unique sounds.

This plugin emulates the ultra-funky sound of the Hohner Clavinet, forever associated with Stevie Wonder’s “Superstition”.
The synth engine is based on a physical modeling algorithm, faithfully reproducing the strings vibration and the 2 pickups of the Clavinet Model C. Special attention has been given to reproduce the non-linear interferences in strings decay, for an even more realistic sound. The characteristic “click” sound on key release is also emulated.

Transcender 2 features a large bank of 10 oscillators, with a single slider to mathematically detune the oscillators by different amounts for a rich fat sound, then each oscillator is panned in stereo through twin low pass filters, the filters are slightly detuned for extra bite. Cygnus was originally a collaboration between synth designer Ian Webster and sound designer Tim Conrardy. My first - and probably only - attempt at a hardware synth emulation!
The reasons for this one is purely nostalgic - I used to own one of these back in the 80’s. The hardware version was manufactured by a Big Japanese Company, and it was quite popular as an entry-level, ultra-portable and above all cheap synthesizer. If there is one piece of old gear I truly miss now and then, this is it. Not for its sound, but just because it was so darn cute! Well, here it is again - in VSTi format. Hardware synth buffs and those who were there at the time, enjoy!

The “son of Hahaha CS01″
Whereas the CS01 is barely more than a synth-historical artefact, the CS33 builds on the concept and is quite a capable little synth even by today’s standard. While it can do all sorts of “bread and butter” sounds, its signature sounds come from the PWM oscillator waveforms, twin linked filter modes and the built-in distortion effects.

Each Layer (the plugin is stereo) is composed of two oscillators: a “Phase Distortion Oscillator” (Pdo) and an “Oscillator” (Osc), the oscillator signal is filtered by a “Multimode Filter”, a “Distortion” and a “Feedback”. All the modulations are controlled by an envelope generator, the velocity and the keyboard. Then the sound (4 oscillators+2 filters…) is filtered by a stereo VCF (undoubtedly one of the most complete vcf avaliable in freeware) and a VCA. All the modulations of the oscillators can be modulated by a double LFO.

MM SY 52 PSYCHO synth can sound very powerful and also very thin and ill, depending on the parameters. Everything can be controlled with MIDI CC messages.
This synth is polyphonic (6 voices) and has no internal effects.

MM SY 55 LEADER Synth is a VST instrument.
The architecture is quite simple : osc -> filter -> distortion -> amp, but the sounds are very different from this beast. Agressive, ill, manic and brutal are the main aspects of the presets and so the LEADER is best suited for agressive, dark and noisy type of music.
Don’t expect any nice pads or simulations of acoustic instruments from this synth.
Fat subbasses , heavy distorted Leads ( hence the name LEADER )and extreme FX are the domain of MM SY 55 LEADER.
This synth is monophonic, no internal effects and everything is controllable with MIDI CC messages.
