Music Box is an ‘interactive music generator’. The melodies and rhythms are all original, and generated based on settings which can be changed ‘live’ - so that Music Box can be played as though it were an instrument. Any changes made to settings (such as the harmony/disharmony of a melody, or the complexity/simplicity of a rhythm), take effect in the next bar of music.
Here are some of the features:
-Backup your music in realtime, by streaming it to your hard drive
-Export your music as a midi file
-Save/Load your current song settings
-Set the BPM (speed of the song)
-Select from over 70 musical scales
-Select the Time Signature
-Load instruments with one click
-Create Presets, and load/save Preset Banks
-Easily change settings using the ‘preset mixer’
-Set the song Key
-Extensive ‘help’ feature
IMPORTANT: Music Box requires a recent version of Java to run - you can download it here
Music Box is new software, so please send all questions/comments/suggestions to crispin@freemusicsoftware.org

Wow. The next generation of pad & texture synth by H.G. Fortune. Using a very easy to handle modulation-system with 8 LFO/S&H-outputs plus optical control derived from even patternlike LFO-waveforms as modsources. Now plus adopted Transition system and SuperModulation! So You can do quite amazing and complex modulations with only very few settings. More than 1200 patches included within Pro!

A virtual tape delay, loosely modelled on the venerable Roland Space Echo. Does a fairly good job of emulating the tape saturation, unpredictability and wild self-oscillation of the real deal.
Features main echo and ’second-tapehead’ sub-echoes, as well as adjustable vintageness (tape hiss, motor inertia, tape and motor age).
