Eckel is a midi generating VST based on the eucledian algorithm

Fondleo
Filed Under: VST Effects/Panning | report broken link
Let’s assume that you have a stereo track in which an acoustic guitar is the only instrument in the left channel, and a voice is the only signal in the right. If you pan all left, you might intuitively think that the singer will gradually be heard in the left channel. But with typical hardware and software panning solutions, this is not so!
Instead, the singer’s voice is merely lowered until it cannot be heard at all. You may find yourself with a stereo track in which you want to hear all of the instruments or sounds, but simply want to change the entire track’s relative stereo position.
Returning to the above example, if you use Fondleo to pan all left, the singer’s voice will gradually blend into the left as it is faded out from the right. The end result: your entire stereo track ends in the left channel– guitar and voice.

SqakAttack
Filed Under: VST Effects/Glitch | report broken link
Hook SqakAttack up with audio and midi then when you press a midi note whats currently coming in on audio will be used to synthesize that note. Very ’glitchy’ sound.

Shredder is a sampler designed to be easy to use and fun to play with. it has 12 slots for samples that are controllable via midinotes or automatable parameters aswell as a gui.

Real-time sample assembler that accumulates loops from live or prerecorded audio sources.

CopyShop
Filed Under: VST Effects/Glitch | report broken link
Chops up buffers and plays them back. You can choose the length of the piece of audio played back and when to apply it.

Kerrstinn changes your loops randomly with both moving slices of it around and or applying effects to the slices according to rules that we call generators. It is sort of an automatic controllable recallable loop slicer.

Bass Manager
Filed Under: VST Effects/Surround Sound | report broken link
This plug-in is designed for use in Cubase and Nuendo. It simulates the bass management systems found on most dolby digital and dts surround sound receivers. This allows surround sound engineers to hear what their 5.1 surround mix sounds like without having to burn a CDr or DVDr and then play it through a consumer 5.1 surround receiver.
This plug-in is to be used as a Master Plug-in. This plug-in is to be used for monitoring only. This means you turn off the plug-in when you render your main audio files.

LCRS Encoder
Filed Under: VST Effects/Surround Sound | report broken link
The LCRS Encoder VST Plug-in is especially designed for Cubase and Nuendo. It is an LCRS 4:2 Matrix Encoder. It is not a Dolby Digital AC-3 Encoder. It encodes 4 channels (Left, Center, Right, Surround) into two channels (stereo) for playback on Dolby Pro Logic Style receivers and decoders. If you playback audio encoded using this encoder on a normal stereo you won’t hear the surround channel but instead you will hear the out of phase information that may appear to be coming from inside your head. This plug can be used with the 5.1, 6.0, 6.1 and most other surround formats found in Nuendo and Cubase. It must have a surround channel. It is recommended that you switch to the LCRS format otherwise there will likely be unexpected results. You should note that you can only pan a single sound at a time. This is more of a limitation with Dolby Pro Logic Decoders and not the plug-in.

Stereo Tools
Filed Under: VST Effects/Panning | report broken link
The Stereo Tools VST Plug-in is a simple to use utility plug-in that allows you to pan or position both the left and right channels independently of one another. This is a 2 input and 2 output plug-in. It works well for stereo files that you don’t want to have to convert to mono or if you want to fix a problem with the stereo file. For instance with the Stereo Tools plug-in you can MUTE one side of the file and then pan or position the other side to the center. You can then pan this file using the Nuendo or Cubase panner. You can also use the plug-in to remove the center information (voice remover), as well as sum both the left and right channels together. You can also work with files in the Mid/Side format.

VST TAL-Vocoder
Filed Under: VST Effects/Vocoder | report broken link
TAL-Vocoder is a vintage vocoder emulation with 11 bands that emulates the sound of vocoders from the early 80’s. It includes analog modeled components in combination with digital algorithms such as the SFFT (Short-Time Fast Fourier Transform).
This vocoder does not make a direct convolution of the carrier and modulation signal as other digital vocoders maybe do. It includes an envelope follower for every of the eleven bands. This vocoder is optimized for voice processing and includes some algorithms for consonants to make the voice more intelligible.
The carrier signal is a VCO (Voltage Controlled Oscillator) with a Pulse, Saw, Noise and SubOsc. But it’s also possible to use the left stereo input as carrier. This way every sound source can be used as carrier signal. This plug-in supports every sample rate.

TapeIt
Filed Under: VST Effects/Live Performance / Sample Loops | report broken link
Silverspike TapeIt 2 is a VST-Plugin to record audio streams creating wave files in real-time. You can plug TapeIt 2 into your VST host application at any point accepting VST plugins. Unlike most other plugins, TapeIt 2 does not change the sound of your audio. But, while copying the sound unaltered from input to output, TapeIt 2 writes it to a standard WAV file. This way you can grab any audio signal that appears at one of the plugin-points of your audio application.

RubyTube
Filed Under: VST Effects/Tube Simulation | report broken link
RubyTube simulates tube preamps for those that can’t forget. If you are missing that subtle sparkling and compression that you get when using ancient audio equipment, RubyTube might be something for you. And like many other good things in life, RubyTube is free.
RubyTube is a real time, digital tube amp simulator. RubyTube simulates the saturation effect that can be found in audio equipment with vacuum tubes. This effect is usually hardly noticable but it is responsible for the classic tube sound. Sometimes its just a sparkle on the voice and a slight compression of drums and bass that makes the difference between a neutral recording and a warm and full sounding song.

RoomMachine 844
Filed Under: VST Effects/Reverb | report broken link
Simulates rooms the physical way. Two virtual loudspeakers and two virtual microphones can be positioned freely. RoomMachine 844 takes care of the rest. RoomMachine 844 is a real time, digital audio room simulator capable of capturing the characteristic spacial sound of natural rooms.
RoomMachine 844 is not a reverb effect that delivers long, silky reverberation tails (try R2 or Reverb.it if you are looking for that), instead RoomMachine focuses on early reflections determined by the position of sound source and listener. RoomMachine 844 puts your track right into the room. Can be used as a master effect but is even more useful on single tracks or sections.

envelope_trigger
Filed Under: Midi VST/Event Filter | report broken link
This plugin will trigger a CC to follow a 6 stage Hold-Attack-Hold-Decay-Sustain-Release type envelope upon receiving a note.
This can be used for adding extra modulation envelopes to synths and effects or even other complex midi chains.
For example you can make the feedback on a short delay increase when you play a note on a synth. Or you make the plugin to control a parameter that you wish had modulation but doesn’t on your synth, such as mix on Synth1. Or you could even use it to control the position of a Soma audio scanner hooked up to several effects to make the sound morph during note ons.

audio_switcher
Filed Under: Midi VST/Midi Channel | report broken link
The audio switcher uses a note from octave 1 to switch the input to 1 of 12 corresponding audio outputs.

cc_scannerDX
Filed Under: Midi VST/Event Filter | report broken link
Deluxe CC scanner
This little beauty stores 2 values for 12 CC’s (Max/Min). There is a Position fader that will change a CC’s Value from setting 1 to setting 2 as it gets closer to it. You can control how close the position has to be to start effecting the values using the Width knob. You can control how fast the actual position follows your movements using the glide knob. You can fade from 0 to the faders’ max values or from max to 0 using the Amp knob. You can cross fade (invert) the Max and Min values using the Max/Min crossfading knob. You can set which CC with be the 1st of the 12 (e.g. if set to 6 then CC’s will be 6-17) using the First controller dropdown. You can control the start and end positions by pressing the Numbers (fun when automated). There are also your standard midi learn functions (press learn, move GUI, move an incoming CC).

SubFilter II
Filed Under: VST Effects/Filter | report broken link
SubFilterII is an expanded version of the original SubFilter plug-in with a wider range of cutoff frequencies. SubFilterII has a selectable cutoff slope of -12, -24 or -36dB/Octave and a cutoff frequency variable from 10Hz to 1KHz. The filter is extremely useful for removing thumps, bumps and low frequency rumble noise from your audio. The filter has 2 controls: cutoff slope and cutoff frequency. The passband is flat (Butterworth filter) and has unity gain. In addition to audio cleanup tasks, SubFilterII can be used with HyperFilter (below) to create “am radio”, “megaphone” and other classic sounds.
Telephone Audio Emulator
Filed Under: VST Effects/Filter | report broken link
Telephone is a simple yet highly realistic telephone audio simulator. This plug-in uses very steep, 6 pole high-pass and low-pass filters to create the telephone audio bandwidth of 350Hz - 3KHz. A granulizer reduces the resolution to 8 bits just like the phone company! Works with both mono and stereo signals.
HyperFilter
Filed Under: VST Effects/Filter | report broken link
HyperFilter is a high frequency filter with a selectable cutoff slope of -12, -24 or -36dB/Octave. The filter is extremely useful for removing hiss, crackles and even sampling noise from your audio. The filter has 2 controls: cutoff slope and cutoff frequency. The cutoff frequency is variable from 1KHz to 20KHz. The passband is flat (Butterworth filter) and has unity gain. The cutoff frequency upper limit is automatically adjusted depending on sample rate (for example, upper limit when used on 22.05KHz sample rate signals is 10KHz).
SimpleQ
Filed Under: VST Effects/EQ | report broken link
SimpleQ is a FREE plug-in that emulates the simple Bass/Treble tone controls found on stereos and smaller mixing consoles. While simple in operation, this plug in is extremely useful. SimpleQ is a “shelving” equalizer that can boost or cut the high or low frequencies by up to 10dB.
Saturator
Filed Under: VST Effects/Tape Simulation | report broken link
The Saturator is a FREE plug-in that emulates the non-linear curve of analog tape in saturation. The Saturator can add up to 6dB of gain to the signal to push it into overdrive whereby soft clipping begins. When used properly the Saturator can add that “analog sound” to your tracks or can be used to boost low level signals giving them an “analog edge”.
Flipper
Filed Under: VST Effects/Phase Shifter | report broken link
Flipper is a simple little plug that does an important job. It takes the input signal, in either mono or stereo, and inverts the polarity (a.k.a., “Phase Invert”) just like the “Phase Invert” button found on most larger mixing consoles. If your mono or stereo tracks sound unusually thin it could be because of phase problems. You can flip the phase of a wave file using wave editors but once you do you’re more or less stuck with the result. Instead, INSERT Flipper into your mixer channel INSERT and try it out in real time. Flipper can also be used to purposely generate out of phase signals or as a simple “Vocal eliminator” on stereo mixes (flip the phase of one side and mix the stereo tracks together in mono - whatever was centered in the mix will disappear).
TimeZoner
Filed Under: VST Effects/Glitch | report broken link
This little effect records incoming audio for a predefined time and drops it freezed back to the main signal..

V.I STEREO TO 5.1 CONVERTER VST PLUGIN SUITE
Filed Under: VST Effects/Surround Sound | report broken link
V.I is a free VST plugin for designed to convert a stereo input to a 5.1 audio output. You can then save this data in a file and encode it into a surround sound file using appropriate software. V.I cannot go back into a recording studio and separate the original multitrack audio into separate channels, but it can extract ambience information embedded in the stereo audio and redistribute it among 5.1 channels. Recording engineers, audio engineers and enthusiasts have been doing this kind of thing for years in one way or another. V.I simply combines some of their techniques in one VST plugin.
